1 Timothy 2:12 was written for the context of the church Timothy was pastoring.
Priscilla was a woman and there is no record of Paul forbidding her to teach (Acts 18:24–26). Also, a misogynistic Bible would not have let women be the first people to see the resurrected Christ.
